1.1. This page (together with the documents referred to on it ) sets out the terms and conditions on which we supply the goods listed on our website. These terms and conditions apply to all transactions between Lunts Domestics and you. They do not affect your statutory rights. Please read them carefully.
1.2. These terms and conditions are governed by English law and are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
2. CUSTOMER SALES
2.1. We will treat each order for goods as an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to these terms and conditions.
2.2. To order goods over the phone or on our website you must be at least 18 years of age and accept delivery within our 10 mile radius.
All telephone orders will be acknowledged verbally at the time of the order, and all orders placed on our website will be acknowledged by e-mail. Please note that verbal and / or electronic acknowledgments do not constitute order confirmation or order acceptance. Your order will be accepted and the creation of a legally binding contract between you and us will take place once the goods have been paid for. We may decline all your order for any reason in which case we will inform you in-person or by telephone or e-mail.
2.3. We will tell you if your payment details cannot be authorised for any reason and may invite you to pay by another method or suggest you visit Lunts Domestics. Please note some products may differ in store from those featured on our website.
2.4. The total cost of your order will be the price of the products, additional services such as delivery and installation will be discussed as required.
2.5. The total amount payable will be stipulated at the time you place your order, whether or not the order has been acknowledged.
2.6. We are entitled to make adjustments to the price to take account of any increase in our suppliers prices, or the imposition of any taxes or duties. Or if due to an error or omission the price published for the goods are wrong, whether the order has been acknowledged. We will inform you of the correct price and give you the opportunity to cancel the order. All prices are inclusive of VAT, but exclusive of delivery charges which will be payable at the time the order is placed.
2.7. Prices may be liable to change and /or availability before (but not after) we accept your order. If a product is not available we may offer you an alternative or suggest you visit Lunts Domestics.
2.8. All product information, descriptions or other information communicated by us is intended to be as accurate as possible, from information supplied by manufacturers.
2.9. Full product information can be may be available from manufactures websites or brochures. We will supply the product to you as supplied to us by the manufacturer.
We accept major credit cards and debits cards including Visa, MasterCard, Maestro and Delta. This is the address and telephone number which your credit card or debit card / bank has on file for you. Your order will only be processed once authorisation of your credit/ debit card has been properly received .
2.11. All goods and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If we do not supply the goods for any reason we will not charge you for them and will refund any money you have paid for them. We will not however be responsible for compensating you for any other losses you may suffer if we do not supply the goods.
3.1. All our prices are exclusive of delivery charges. A charge is made for the delivery of the goods and we strive to keep cost as low as possible. Generally where an order contains more than one item we deliver all items together.
3.2. All quoted delivery costs are for a ten mile radius of Lunts Domestics.
3.3. We will only deliver to the cardholders registered address. You will be contacted by telephone or e-mail to confirm your delivery date. Once we have agreed a delivery date you must be present on this day to take delivery.
3.4. Delivery times are calculated in working dates i.e. Monday to Friday but exclude bank holidays.
3.5. If you order we will agree with you a suitable delivery day, which is normally within 2 to 7 working days.
3.6. On occasion goods are subject to availability and delay in delivery is sometimes outside our control. As such delivery cannot be guaranteed and any dates we specify for the delivery of goods are only approximate. We will not be liable for any losses, costs, damages or expenses caused by any delay for delivery of the goods.
If we or our suppliers are temporarily out of stock we will notify you as soon as possible. For delays of more than 14 days you have the right to cancel the order and we will refund any money paid by you for the goods.
3.7. If you are unable to accept delivery on the day we have agreed please notify us as soon as possible and at least 24 hours ahead of the planned delivery. If you do not notify us within this time and we are unable to deliver the goods to your home on the day agreed we reserve the right to charge a second delivery fee.
3.8. All items must be unpacked and inspected on delivery and a signature obtained. A signature checked or unchecked deems the products to be in good condition and the delivery completed satisfactorily and no claim can be entered into following delivery. This does not affect your statutory right. Should any issue arise with either the delivery service or the products please contact us whilst delivery drivers are on site.
4. INSTALLATION SERVICE
4.1. All orders requiring installation are subject to charges and availability. Please check prices and availability prior to delivery.
4.2. Please ensure that a safe passageway exists for the delivery vehicle to your property. That there is sufficient space for your appliance in terms of width, depth and height.
4.3. Electric sockets must be within 1 metre of the appliance.
We will not plumb any waste pipes. We will only connect to waste outlets to an existing water tap or standard pipe.
4.4. You will be asked to check the appliances are in working order, with no damage and sign to agree that you are happy with service provided.
4.5. We will remove all packaging, unless instructed otherwise and remove the old appliance if that service has been ordered.
4.6. We will not affect any of your property, including lifting carpets / wood floors etc or movement of your household items.
4.7. We do not uninstall existing appliances prior to installation or move any appliances prior to installation.
4.8. If you require removal of your old appliance you must make us aware of this at the point of placing an order. Old appliances not available for removal at the time may be collected at a later date, however this will incur a further charge.
4.9. To keep our delivery costs as competitive as possible we will only deliver to ground floor properties. Please advise us in advance if this is likely to affect your order.
5. CANCELLATIONS AND RETURNS
5.1. You have the right to cancel your order at any time up to 14 working days starting the day after delivery for credit or refund.
Please note you have a duty of care while the goods are in your possession and as such we advise customers to return the product with the original packaging to insure the product is not damaged on its return journey. If the item is something big like a fridge or dishwasher, just call us and we can arrange to have it picked up, but there will be a charge for this .
5.2. You must notify us of your intention to return the goods by e-mail within 7 working days of delivery.
6.1. Full refunds of the cost of the goods is wholly conditional on the above conditions being met and will be within 30 days of cancellation.
6.2. All goods must be returned to us complete with instruction manuals, any free gifts, hoses and waste pipes. In the case of Gas and Electric fires, coals, trims instruction /installation manuals and fixing kits.
7. GUARANTEES AND WARRANTIES
7.1. All goods supplied are covered by the terms and conditions of the manufactures guarantee for a minimum of twelve months. The guarantee specifically excludes faults caused by accident, neglect or misuse.
7.2. If the goods are being used in a non domestic environment they will not be covered by manufactures warrantee.
8.1. If you suspect you products may have developed a fault first check that the problem is not something like a blown fuse or disconnected cable. Check the manufacturer’s manual, specifically the faultfinding / trouble shooting section to see whether you can resolve the problem yourself. Also locate the manufacturers helpline number as they may be able to give assistance over the phone or in the event there is a problem they can arrange a service call.
8.2. If the fault remains unresolved please contact Lunts domestics.
(a) If the fault developed within 28 days of delivery you will be offered the choice of exchange or refund.
(b) If the fault developed within 12 months of delivery you will be offered a repair under manufacture’s guarantee.
9. DATA PROTECTION
9.1. We follow strict security measures, we do not pass on, or sell any information to third parties. We may from time to time contact you by e-mail with any current offers or promotions that we think may be of interest to you.
We primarily hold data to validate delivery details and manufactures warranties.
